Matthew T. Kneefe – Tenor 

An accomplished tenor in his twelfth season with Chanson, Matt continues to explore his musical diversity as he has quickly established a name for himself in the Midwest country/rock music scene with his band Hitchville, for which he writes and produces the band's live shows. His vocal talents are in demand in Minneapolis, Nashville, and on television and radio ads across the country. A graduate of Concordia College with degrees in English Literature and Advertising, Matt has performed all over the United States and in over 15 countries.  He currently resides in Anoka, MN (his hometown) with his daughters Maddison and Mackenzie.  Through all this, his deep passion for pure, six-part a cappella music has not wavered, and believes that Chanson, still young and fresh at 12 years, has only just begun to explore the boundaries of traditional and 21st century a cappella choral works.
