The men of Chanson created for us a wonderful evening of male a cappella with something for every musical taste. From the traditional to the ultra-modern, these six voices filled the hall with their exceptional blend, precisely matched diction and a rainbow of vocal colors. We cannot wait to hear them in concert again!

From the first breath to the final release, these young men sang with beautiful tone, superb intonation, and wonderful expression. The audience was completely captivated throughout the performance. Chanson is one of the finest choral ensembles I have heard in concert or recording.
Dr. Wallace Hinson, Professor of Music, Director of Choral Ensembles and Music Department Chair; Piedmont College
[Chanson] brings together the vocal talents of gifted young men dedicated to the choral art, who sing with elegant ensemble, sincere expression and sensitive musicianship.

This accomplished a cappella ensemble brings to Cornell a rich rendition of American spirituals, Renaissance motets and popular tunes. Seamless vocals, precise intonation and resonant sound distinguish Chanson as one of the most accomplished male ensembles in the Midwest.

This group has the tone quality and blend that most of us can only dream about. Hearing the long, sustained phrasing of this group is an absolute joy. You can neither hear or see where breathing is taking place - yet we know it's there somewhere. Their diction is superb with the uniform vowel sounds and the crisp consonants which are the trademark of any really good group....one of the brightest, new male choral groups that I have heard in years.

Simply splendid...The group's young men have been singing together for four years and have achieved a vocal blend and a stylish finesse that far surpass many groups that have been in the business longer....close harmonies, excellent diction and fine attention to style that characterized the entire performance. It was a moment to cherish.
